Eavestrough & Gutters

Rain gutters or eavestroughs are designed with the purpose of elevating water damage by forcing the water away from the home. Designed to protect a building’s foundation a proper eaves system can increase the longevity and sanctity of a structure. Channeling the water away helps to reduce erosion, prevents leaks in basements, increase the siding and exterior longevity and protect painted surfaces.

At Aico Exteriors, we use professional installation and gutters made from a variety of durable materials. Our crews are also trained to locate the best positions for downspouts, making sure the gutters work to the best of their abilities.

An important part of a structure the soffit rests beneath the roof and eaves. As an exterior ceiling this under carriage of the roofs edge helps elevate moisture and enhances the effectiveness of the siding.

Fascia is an architectural and construction term that refers to an exterior band. This band is located below the roof and runs horizontally while resting under the vertical  roof edge. Fascia typically consists of a combination of wooden boards and/or sheet metal. The horizontal fascia which caps the end of rafters outside a building may be used to hold the rain gutter.
